From Brigit: June 4: Budget Traveler Tip: Spirit Airlines is an airline with a good number of straight flights into Myrtle Beach. Right now they are offering $9 one-way direct flights from Washington DC to Myrtle Beach. They don't fly from West Palm Beach to Myrtle Beach, but they have $50 tickets from Ft. Lauderdale to Myrtle Beach. $60 from NYC to Myrtle Beach. Some for $50 from Chicago too. You may want to check it out:
